Em Starts Baking
It probably won't come as much of a shock as someone who runs a cookie business, but I've been baking for as long as I can remember. I blame it on my early childhood fixation with the show 'Cake Boss' and playing with my pretend kitchen set.
My dad was the baker in the house. I loved being able to help him make desserts and learn his "secret" recipes.
As I got older, I had more freedom to bake on my own. I loved trying out new recipes and seeing my family love something that I made all on my own. Of course this was quite a few years after this picture was taken!
